Today
the Cost of Studying Medical Courses have increased a lot. Its very
difficult for the parents to afford to make their children study medicine.
A number of private medical colleges have been established to offer MBBS.
But the high some of Capitation fee/Donations (Rs12-22 Lacs) are deterrent
and these colleges are not able to fill all of their seats. Over and above
the cost of fees over next years, boarding and lodging charges are to be
borne. After passing out one has to have money to establish a nice equipped
clinic to practice in Urban area. Where
as the total cost of studying RPHMS is 6 lacs approx including
boarding and lodging etc. If any way he is not able to get govt. job
then also establishing a Rural clinic is much less and can also be
supported by the the panchayat. In
first few sessions the admissions will be insisted to be done through
State PMT exams. But later direct counseling will be advised.
